B&W drawing of chef tossing pizza pieMost of my “normal” friends never heard of cash parking or domain monetization. And some domainers I’ve spoken to don’t realize that there are parking sites that allow you to add your own content to a parked page. I’ll try to address both audiences.

Content and SEO are Best Friends

Mark Twain greets a friend with a handshake.Good web content freelance writing and search engine optimization (SEO) are inextricably linked. SEO helps ensure that your brilliant content is actually seen by visitors, and good content is instrumental in implementing an SEO campaign. The latter is true for two reasons:

1)     Search engines reward fresh content with a higher rating.

2)     Content that uses (but doesn’t overuse) your chosen keywords in headings and text is more easily indexed by search engine crawlers.

Five dollar bill where Lincoln has mohawk haircut.Fiverr.Com wants to know. They are the hottest ticket on the planet for those who miss good old sweatshops. The concept is this: offer some task or skill for $5—Fiverr calls it a “gig”—and put it up on a website with a million other desperate people. Think it sounds ludicrous? Think again: at last count, over 50,000 souls have put themselves up for sale.
